Primary Care Physician
Metrocare Services is searching for a Primary Care Physician to work in an Adult Outpatient Clinic. This is a new clinic which will provide integrated services to adults with concurrent mental health diagnoses. The clinic also employs Advanced Nurse Practitioners, who are cross-trained in provision of psychiatric services. First line on-call services are provided by the Advanced Nurse Practitioners. Experience working with Medicaid is a plus.
Job responsibilities include direct patient care, supervision of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and approximately 10 hours/week of administrative duties. All billing and scheduling are centralized.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
M.D. or D.O. with experience in Internal Medicine. Current Texas Medical License and board certified or board eligible. Bilingual or sign language is a plus. Must have supervisory and electronic medical record experience.
